A NEW VISION FOR TRANSPORTATION IN THE DENVER REGION.

Established in 2019, the Advanced Mobility Partnership (AMP) is a collective effort from the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), Regional Transportation District (RTD), Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce to implement the region’s Mobility Choice Blueprint and revolutionize transportation.

ENSURING MOBILITY FOR 2030 AND BEYOND.

test

The population in the Denver region is projected to grow from 3.1 million to 3.9 million by 2030, and traditional expansion solutions will not resolve the mobility challenges associated with that level of growth. We need a proactive, collaborative approach to ensure mobility throughout the metro area.

In 2018, CDOT, DRCOG, RTD and the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce partnered to form the Mobility Choice Initiative, working with community, nonprofit, and business leaders to draft the region’s 2030 Mobility Choice Blueprint: a comprehensive strategic recommendation to encourage the most effective technologies and approaches, improving mobility to meet our long-term goals of enhanced quality of life and increased economic vitality across the metropolitan region.

The AMP represents the next chapter of this proactive initiative. Committed to the strategic partnerships, programs, policies, and pilot programs detailed in the 2030 Blueprint, AMP brings together area expertise and local resources to realize this critical new vision for transportation and mobility in the Denver region.
